The resume assignment is another way to get you thinking about your interests, history, and direction. Resumes these days are nearly obsolete. We’re told to make them simple for these keyword-crunching algorithms that companies now use to deal with the massive amounts of job submissions they receive. Then, if we make it through this lottery draw to the other side, we present the most generic version of ourselves possible.

You cannot completely design your own Google search, but you can come pretty close if you produce enough content, and not egocentric content repeating your credentials, but honest work that displays your ability to communicate whatever it is you do and love.
It is the ultimate portfolio.
You do a great job of using the different social media possibilities to explore different aspects of your subject. It’s a basic, but fruitful start to thinking about the web in this way. Make sure you look around at your classmates’ versions to see other ideas and opportunities.
You could also think about converting your resume to a LinkedIn page as part of your online persona and be a little more creative with it. LinkedIn has a keyword system you can use, but it also gives you the opportunity to discuss what specific lessons and skills you gained from each job.

That is a pretty general objective when your resume clearly shows someone who wants to work in media. Think about writing a version of your resume that focuses your narrative just like your new resume, emphasizing your history and goals in production and interactive media.
