I was able to skim over your resume and get all of the relevant information quickly, a must for resumes. I was also able to get a good idea of what your responsibilities were upon a more thorough reading.
ReplyDeleteMy two suggestions: I would pull out your computer skills and proficiencies from the profile so that it's easy to find.
And some of the wording in the experience areas read a little awkwardly.
For example:
I worked with various academic scholars consequently I was acclimated to the proper way...
I was to familiarize myself with processes within...
Some of the sentences could be reworded and it would flow well.
I liked how you kept your resume brief and avoided lengthy sentences or too many adjectives which can leave some resumes overly padded.
ReplyDeleteI would change some of the wording around your profile like:
"A remarkable listener and communicator who conveys ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing."
I would say "An excellent lister and communicator who can convey ideas effectively and clearly through written and verbal language."
And also for this sentence: High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook WordPress blogger, Facebook, Twitter.
I would leave Wordpress, Facebook and Twitter out of that sentence because when I look at it, I assume that Microsoft Office Suite includes those as well. So I would add after Outlook and say, "Also skilled in social media outlets including Wordpress, Facebook and Twitter"
Hope that helps!
